The Birkenstock Rio sandal is the classic kidsshoe. Designed back in the 1970s, it has been a laid-back summer companion for generations of children ever since. The upper is made from the skin-friendly, hard-wearing synthetic material Birko-Flor® in a sophisticated nubuck look.

Fitting Notes:
- The Rio sandal is perfect for those who want a little more stability. Featuring two adjustable straps across the top of the foot as well as an additional heel strap, these sandals are suitable for narrower and broader feet.
- The Birko-Flor strap will soften quickly, while the contoured footbed may need to be worn in more gradually.
