Fitting Notes:
- The Stinger Lo boot can be quite snug to begin with as the sheepskin is very fluffy, but it will compress with wear and the shoe will give.
- If you're between sizes or have a very wide foot or high instep it might be worth going for a size up.
- Some people find that the heel slips when you first wear them but the sole of the shoe will curl up with wear making the shoe feel more secure overall.

I really didn't know what to expect with these boots - first pair of Emu in the "Lo" size. But lo and behold (pun intended)... I adore them! They are so warm, and have made my life in our (at times freezing) apartment much more bearable. And the craftsmanship.... simply outstanding, all the way down to the stitching, the quality is palpable - Aussie materials, Aussie wool and made in VIC. What more could you want?
To top it all off, the customer service from Bstore was simply incredible - I wrote them an email explaining my situation (long story), and my boots were sent express from Perth on a Wednesday, late in the day, and they were on my doorstep in Melbourne on Friday morning, two days later. Insanely fast! Shoutout to Sarah - who made the experience incredible. Thank you all so much for the work you do 🙂.
One thing to note - definitely get a size up from your normal size, if you follow the advice on Emu's website (under their sizing guide). I made the mistake of ordering my usual size - US 12, sure enough, they were too small, so I decided to buy them in US 13, and they fit snugly but are wearing in nicely. But the US 12, which is my size for every single pair of shoes I have - Converse, Vans, Birkenstocks, combat boots, hiking boots - was far too small. In any event, you can purchase knowing there's a great returns policy in place.
Overall, couldn't ask for a better product or customer service - 10/10.
