Perfectly fits my wide toe area, and the soft single layer leather upper is divine on my feet.
Very lightweight and makes walking such a pleasure.
I sized up to accomodate thick winter socks, and give my bony heels some room to slide about a little, so as not rub against the shoe’s heel when walking long distances.
I normally wear 37R in the London suede, and 39R in the Milano, and am 40 in the Bend Decon, which seems it be much narrower in the front for my foot shape.
Colour of the Grey Taupe is gorgeous, as is the Mink (I bought both). Coincidentally, these shades are the same in the same as the Miu Miu x Balance that’s so big this year… except that the Bend is so much better suited to the comfort of my feet (and Birkenstock had these colours before Miu Miu did).
I wear these with everything - long skirts, wide leg pants, baggy jeans, roomy leather trousers, my yoga tracksuit, silk slip dresses with a blazer - pretty much everything - every day.
